These terms are a draft. They will be reviewed by counsel before Dating for Lawyers opens to the public.

D4L DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND SCREENINGS ON ITS MEMBERS.

Who can join

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be a lawyer licensed and in active status, and complete our verification (work email and your own good-standing document).
• One account per person. Accounts are personal and can't be transferred.

Your conduct

You agree to follow the Community guidelines. We may warn, remove content, suspend or ban accounts that break them, and we cooperate with law enforcement where required.

Your content

You keep ownership of your photos and words. You give us a limited license to host and show them to other members inside the service. Every photo is reviewed before it's visible.

Illustrative photos

Photos of people on our marketing pages and social posts (for example the sample profiles on the home page) are AI-generated illustrations of fictional adults, as the site footer notes. They are not members and never appear as profiles in the app. Members' own photos appear only inside the app.

No guarantees about other members

We verify licensure, not character. We do not conduct criminal background screenings. Use the safety tools and your judgment.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account in Settings at any time. It disappears immediately and is erased after 30 days, except records we must keep (see Privacy).

Price

Joining is free. If we ever offer paid features, we will show the price, terms and cancellation rights before you buy.
