D4L is for verified lawyers looking for real relationships. Treat people the way you'd want opposing counsel to treat you on a good day.

Be yourself

• Your own recent photos only. No nudity, no sexual content, no children alone in photos.
• One account per person. You must be 18 or older and a licensed lawyer in active status.

Be respectful

• No harassment, threats, hate speech or unwanted sexual messages.
• No soliciting: no selling, recruiting, fundraising or client development. This is not a networking app.
• Never share someone else's private information or images.

Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation

Anything that sexualizes, exploits or endangers a minor gets a permanent ban and is reported to the authorities as the law requires. See our child safety standards.

What happens if someone breaks the rules

We review every report within 24 hours. Depending on what happened we warn, remove content, suspend or ban. Bans are permanent and tied to the bar number.

Appeals: email our safety team from the Safety Center. A different reviewer looks at every appeal.
